Definition
What is an
agentic system?
An agentic system receives an objective within limits — it interprets context, plans its steps, uses tools, handles exceptions and comes back to a person whenever human authority or judgment is required. It works toward a business outcome over time, coordinating specialized agents rather than executing a single command. It is not a question-and-answer assistant that stops when the conversation ends. It is not a fixed automation replaying the same script every time. It is not a set of disconnected agents with no shared objective and no shared memory. It is not ordinary software with text generation bolted on. And it is not a system that runs unattended and takes human responsibility off the table.
The wave is usually called agentic AI. The term is accurate, but it names a technology — artificial intelligence that plans, decides and adapts. An agentic system is the product built with it: a declared scope, rules, and a place where a person decides. You can embed agentic AI in software and still not have an agentic system, and that is the common case.
They take on the execution.
Your AI agents do more than surface the information. They update your CRM, draft your emails, fill in your spreadsheets and come back to you when a decision is yours to make.
"HNTIC puts us in control of the AI. We choose the data it reaches and we set how it behaves."

Levels of autonomy
Work keeps moving.
You keep control.
Autonomy does not mean no humans. It means no humans stuck operating software. You dial autonomy up one level at a time: observe, prepare, recommend, execute after approval, execute inside defined limits, then a final level of advanced autonomy.
Levels 0-1 · Observe, prepare
The system gathers and organizes without taking any action outside your systems, then produces analyses, contact lists, messages and plans
Level 2 · Recommend
It puts a decision forward and shows the reasoning behind it
Level 3 · Execute on approval
It acts once a person says go
Levels 4-5 · Act within limits
It acts on its own inside defined limits and escalates the exceptions; level 5 stays reserved for actions that are reversible, measurable and well understood
Verifiable sources
Work you never see
is still auditable.
The interface keeps three things apart: what was observed, what was inferred and what is being proposed. Every deliverable shows its sources, and a clean surface never puts the trail or the decisions out of reach.
Sources cited
Direct links into your documents
Facts kept apart from inferences
You can tell what was observed from what was inferred
The work stays visible
Sources consulted, checks run, next step
Corrections stick
Every decision you make sharpens the rules the system runs on

Native integrations
They work inside your tools.
Not in one more tool.
An agent is worth nothing if it cannot act. HNTIC plugs straight into Slack, Teams, Salesforce and the tools your team already opens every day, with controlled access to your data and to the channels where the work lands.

The seven properties of an agentic system.
Objective
The system works toward a business outcome, not the execution of one isolated command.
Context
It holds a working picture of the customer, the market, the rules that apply, the preferences and the history.
Planning
It breaks the objective into steps, adapts them as it goes and decides the order of execution.
Tools
It acts across your software: data, search, CRM, messaging, APIs, documents and channels.
Duration
Work continues in the background, and a task can be picked back up without you standing over it.
Supervision
The system knows when to ask for an approval, a decision or a human hand.
Learning
Recommendations sharpen as observable results come in, within the limits you allow.
